Where the heck is Carmen SanDiego Karl Rove?
If you're wondering where the heck Karl Rove, coordinator of the relief & recovery effort and as overseeing the Gulf Coast Reconstruction Plan, was during
Hurricane Rita, you aren't alone. You probably think he was bunkered down at the
U.S. Northern Command Center in Colorado
with Bush. But NO!
Alas, Karl Rove has been
found & to show how seriously
he takes this newly assigned position, well... He's in North Dakota speaking to the North Dakota Republican Party. He was speaking about hurricane relief, right? No.
Guess again. Better yet, I'll just tell you since you'd never guess anyhow.
Karl Rove is politicizing in
North Dakota to promote the
Guest Worker Plan (aka amnesty for illegal aliens)
White House gives details on guest-worker proposalLos Angeles Times
"White House political strategist Karl Rove is offering lawmakers new details of an administration-backed guest-worker program that would temporarily legalize the status of millions of illegal immigrants, according to Republicans who have attended the meetings.
In January 2004, Bush said he wanted to allow illegal immigrants to apply for a three-year work visa, with the possibility of a single three-year extension before having to return to their native countries.
At recent presentations led by Rove, administration officials are telling lawmakers that under Bush's plan, any worker who is here illegally would first have to pay a substantial fine before being granted a temporary work visa.
Administration officials also are telling lawmakers that workers who participate in the program and then return to their native countries would be allowed to reapply for a guest-worker visa after a year."
For years, Bush has been talking about amnesty for illegal aliens. That surely explains why more & more illegal aliens are coming into America. Anybody wonder why Bush hasn't done anything about protecting the borders? Wonder why we now have such organizations such as "
The Minutemen" trying to protect our borders?
I believe this may be what you call 'speaking out of both sides of your mouth.' He's willing to go to war in Iraq and STOP the terrorists
there. Yet, he refuses to do ANYTHING
here to stop it.
We may as well get rid of any agency related to protecting our border & put up a big sign: "
WELCOME TO AMERICA TO SCREW US IN THE ASS!"
