I Wish Chocolate Were A Vegetable

I'd eat vegetables for breakfast
and vegetables for lunch
vegetables for dinner,
I'd even sneak in brunch

Carrots turn you orange,
would chocolate turn you brown?
If that's so, I'd surely be
the tannest one around

Until a genie grants my wish,
sugar-free it must be,
If this is Greek to you,
it means Sorbitol
that just spells G-A-S for me!
